The master cleanse is a fast that restricts all food except for a beverage that you make at home. The beverage can be consumed from six to ten times a day. To make the beverage simply follow this recipe:

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of genuine maple syrup (must be real syrup and not pancake syrup)
  • 1/10th teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 8-10 ounces of water

Every morning upon waking up you are encouraged to drink one quart of salt water and to follow up with the lemonade throughout the day. Be warned you will need to be close to a restroom, especially after consuming the salt water in the morning.
