  • Eight cups of oats
  • One and a half cups wheat or
  • One and a third cups oat bran
  • One cup flax seeds
  • One cup finely crushed almonds
  • One cup finely crushed pecans
  • One cup finely crushed peanuts
  • One teaspoon salt (table salt works best)
  • One half of a cup brown sugar
  • One quarter cup syrup
  • one half of a cup honey
  • One cup canola oil
  • One teaspoon cinnamon
  • One and a half teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Two cups of craisins

Preheat oven to three hundred and twenty five degrees. While waiting for oven to pre-heat boil the brown sugar, salt, vanilla, vegetable oil, and honey.

Add this mixture to the dry ingredients EXCEPT CRAISINS. Place the mixture on cookie sheets and cook for about twenty minutes stirring once.
